It looks as though Lamar Odom's very short stay in rehab wasn't due to some miraculous recovery after all, as the struggling NBA star was spotted with what appeared to be some of the equipment used for manufacturing a homemade crack pipe. The drug-battling celebrity was spotted leaving a San Fernando Valley pharmacy on Tuesday, 10 September, with a bag full of items, with his Chore Boy copper scrubbing pads serving as conspicious evidence that he may have fallen off the wagon again, if he was ever off in the first place.

According to TMZ, Khloe Kardashian's struggling husband, who may or may not still have a future with the reality star, was spotted in the afternoon with the potential drug paraphernalia clearly visible through the clear white carrier bag. The site explains that the copper pads are used to filter the drug's vapours and included two paparazzi shots of the incident; one of Lamar leaving the pharmacy and another of his personal driver carrying the shopping bag that contained the Chore Boy pads.

The Wikipedia page for Chore Boy states that the scrubbing pads are used as a makeshift component in self-made crack cocaine pipes. It states, "a small wad of the copper wool (the steel variety will not suffice for this purpose) is inserted into the end of a short cylindrical glass tube (sometimes called a "straight shooter") and serves to function as a screen and/or a matrix by which the melting freebase can be thoroughly dispersed across the large surface area of the copper wool."

Lamar has been struggle with crack cocaine since the previous NBA season came to an end, with a number of close friends and family, including Khloe, appealing to the athlete to seek help. After various attempts, it seemed as though Lamar has finally listened when he finally entered rehab earlier this month, however he walked out from the facility less than a day later. Odom could just be doing some cleaning up, but given everything that's happened with him lately there's room to be sceptical.
