People have often wondered how well Lady GaGa copes with fame, whether the myriad of beguiling costumes she wears hides a more forlorn personality underneath and whether she's lonely. Turns out she has been lonely for quite some time, but has apparently sought to embrace her sadness, as she told a recent interviewer.
"[I] was very depressed when I was 19," E! reports her telling Lifetime's 'The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet,' adding "I decided to pursue music, so I dropped out of school and I told my parents I didn't want any money from them. I got three jobs and hit the ground running." However she used the interview to explain that since she was "around 20 years old" she has been embracing her time alone.
The interview comes in recent wake of the news that she and current squeeze Taylor Kinney have called it quits. Us Weekly broke the news, with a source saying "She will be touring nonstop until next year and has found she can't have relationship at the same time," and adding "There's just no room for anything else. Her work is all-consuming." The insider also commented "Taylor was all about himself, a typical actor, and didn't completely get Gaga." It looks like she'll once again have plenty of time to embrace the loneliness.
