Lady GaGa has won her bid to seal court records in a legal battle involving an ex-boyfriend over fears the information would seriously damage her career.
The pop superstar's former lover and producer Rob Fusari is locked in a courtroom spat with the singer's friend and one-time collaborator Wendy Starland, who claims he cheated her out of proceeds stemming from Gaga's discovery.
The Poker Face hitmaker is not directly involved in the pair's legal battle, but she filed a request to have certain "sensitive, private and personal" information about her kept private.
A judge in New York City has now granted her request, ruling the information could "seriously damage" the star, according to Tmz.com.
The legal battle has been raging since Starland filed suit against Fusari back in 2010.
