The 27-year-old superstar has revealed her own ''bizarre'' thoughts were the inspiration behind new track 'Sex Dreams', which appears on her upcoming third studio album 'ARTPOP'.
She explained to Britain's KISS FM radio station: ''Haven't you ever been laying in bed with someone and fantasised about someone else? In the song I'm explaining my infidelity to the person I'm with, and then I'm having a conversation with myself to the person that I'm fantasising about.
''In my mind when I picture sex dreams, it's so bizarre! It's me standing there with some massive couture creation, staring at a blow-up doll or something. That's what my sex dreams are like. My sex dreams are weird!''
While she admits to fantasising about other people, the 'Applause' hitmaker insists she is happy with her boyfriend Taylor Kinney, who stars in US TV drama 'Chicago Fire'.
She said: ''We're both really low key and we don't like fancy stuff, so it's just really, really simple. We're both creative people, so we just like to eat pizza and chill and talk about what we're doing.''
The actor will have his fifth outing as the secret agent in 'Spectre' this November.
