Lady GaGa opened iTunes festival in London last night (01.09.13).

The 27-year-old singer made her first UK performance in almost a year, rocking the stage almost half-an-hour late dressed as a bandit brandishing a knife, with a black bandana covering the lower half of her face.

The star - who was forced to cut her 'Born This Way Ball' tour when she underwent surgery in February - took to the hoards of screaming fans, known as Little Monsters, at the Roundhouse in Camden, North London, saying: ''To say that I've missed you, it's a bit of an understatement. When I'm without you, I can't live.''

Gaga - real name is Stefani Germanotta - compared herself to Dorothy from the children's story 'The Wizard of Oz', claiming she finally felt like she's home.

She explained: ''I'm a bit like Dorothy right now - there's no place like home.''

Gaga played an hour-long set performing seven songs from her upcoming third studio album 'ARTPOP' which a host of celebrity fans in the audience including Adele, Niall Horan from One Direction and TV personality Arlene Phillips.
