Lady GaGa has announced a three-date 'Dive Bar Tour' ahead of the release of her upcoming album Joanne.

The first gig will take place this Wednesday (October 5) in an as-yet-undisclosed venue. However fans will be happy to learn that the shows are being streamed on Bud Light’s Facebook Live feed.

Subsequent performances are scheduled for Oct. 20 and Oct. 27 and Gaga will be debuting new songs from fifth studio album Joanne, which drops on October 21, at the shows.

In a statement Gaga said: “I love this dive bar tour so much, because I get to go perform these songs and really look my fans in the eyes when I’m singing to them and really try to have a more natural human experience.”

“This record was about me trying to understand my father, and his grief. It’s also a record about me trying to understand myself and wondering where I’m going next in life.

“Because truly, the thing that I’m searching for the most is to feel connected to humanity, to feel connected as a person. So Joanne is like, you know, Lady Gaga if you erase all the fame.”

Earlier this week Gaga announced a very different type of gig for next year, confirming she will be the halftime performer at Super Bowl on February 5.

"It's not an illusion," the singer tweeted on Friday. ”The rumors are true. This year the SUPER BOWL goes GAGA!"
