Lady GaGa is a female version of me says legendary rocker Alice Cooper after comparing himself to the extrovert pop superstar.

The Detroit born rocker and Lady Gaga share a taste for the theatrical and the I'm Eighteen hit maker has also seen the similarities "Lady Gaga is the female Alice Cooper" he said according to the Associated Press. He also discussed how similar they were both on and off stage "She created a character named Lady Gaga and wrote songs for Lady Gaga, not for herself. I write songs for Alice, not for me. But if you meet her off stage she's nothing like that person on stage, it's like me I'm nothing like Alice." Lady Gaga is as famous for her extravagant costumes as she is for her music and often turns heads at award ceremonies. Last year she appeared at the MTV Vma awards wearing a dress made out of meat, she appeared at this year's VMA awards dressed as a man and at this year's (2011) Grammy Awards arrived on the red carpet inside a giant egg carried by four men.

Legendary rocker Cooper, real name Vincent Furnier released his first album in 1969, however, he rose to prominence in 1971 following the success of his single I'm Eighteen and later became a leading heavy metal artist. To date he has released 25 studio albums and has also starred in 1992 movie Wayne's World opposite MIKE MYERS.
