Lady GaGa was stunned when she discovered Madonna had covered her hit song Born This Way on tour after critics noted the similarities between the tune and the veteran pop star's track Express Yourself.
The eccentric 27 year old came under fire in 2011, when so-called music experts insisted her number one single sounded just like the Queen of Pop's 1989 hit.
Then, during a show on her Mdna tour in Israel in 2012, Madonna added stirred up the story by covering Born This Way onstage without commenting on whether the impromptu performance was a tribute to Gaga or a jab at her.
The Paparazzi hitmaker still isn't clear what Madonna's intention was - and she tells Britain's Attitude magazine that she doesn't really care.
Gaga admits, "I have to be really honest, I was completely kind of floored that Madonna was singing my song on her stage! I mean, Madonna's... she's Madonna. I looked up to her for a long time. I'm not quite sure what her intention was - to do that in the show, but I don't really care.
"All it meant to me was that Madonna Ciccone was singing my song on her stage... and, as a punk rocker from New York, I've basically been hoping that I would become so good that one day I would p**s off Madonna!"
