Lady GaGa and her fans have dedicated a special video to Clarence Clemons in a bid to boost the saxophonist's spirits as he recovers from a serious stroke.
Bruce Springsteen's longtime E Street Band player Clemons was admitted to a Florida hospital after falling ill on Sunday (12Jun11).
Gaga, who collaborated with Clemons on her single The Edge of Glory, called on her followers to record video messages, which she has compiled into a touching tribute for the 69 year old.
Gaga opens the 13-minute clip by telling Clemons, "I'm in Paris right now and I just sang The Edge Of Glory on X Factor. I wish I was there with you but I wanted to put together this special gift of videos for you."
She adds, "A big hug from the whole world from me to you. We love you Clarence. Feel better."
The rest of the video features dozens of fans urging Clemons a speedy recovery and sending their best wishes to the star.
Springsteen has revealed Clemons' initial signs are "encouraging" and he is on the mend.
