Cher loved Lady Gaga's infamous meat dress - but found it ''weird'' when she was asked to carry the singer's matching bag.
The 67-year-old singer loved the unusual outfit - which was made from raw beef - donned by the singer at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) and thought it was a ''work of art'', though she admits she also found it a rather ''strange'' choice.
She said: ''I thought it was hysterical. I didn't realise what it was at first and then she said, 'Hold my meat purse', and I thought it was a new designer I didn't know. Then I looked down and thought, 'Woah this is strange'. It felt very weird, but the design was gorgeous and it was really a work of art.''
Despite her advancing years, Cher still loves to party, though she admits it isn't as easy as it once was.
She told heat magazine: ''I've partied a lot in my life. I still like it but I don't get a chance to do it much. I go out to dinner with my friends but it's too hard to go dancing.
''I was at this club the other night and it was so much fun, but there was no room on the dance floor so I danced where I was. You have to give it up or just be prepared to have sweaty pictures everywhere.''
