Lady GaGa has become the latest celebrity to find themselves in the middle of the ongoing Photoshop debate after un-retouched photos from the pop singer's new Versace campaign leaked online. As the new face of the Italian high fashion brand, Gaga features in numerous photos for the extensive new ad campaign, modelling clothes and accessories.

Gaga doesn't exactly look terrible in the unedited snaps but that very fact alone has cause fans and feminist sites to criticise the heavy Photoshop editing that saw the 'Artpop' singer dramatically changed. The star was digitally given a lot more make up than she appeared to be wearing in the original shots and even had her hair changed from a straw blonde to a more platinum shade.

There’s nobody out there that can argue with us when we say that Lady GaGa aims to be shocking. Since she first burst onto the scene with her debut album The Fame in 2008 she has made a concerted effort to make sure that her music, her image and her performances are regularly debated. From outfits made entirely from raw meat to appearing onstage wearing nothing but fishnets and bubbles, Gaga has worked hard to be anything but your run-of-the-mill pop star.

Recently Gaga has been caught lap dancing at BPM Nightclub in New York since the furor died down from her heavily criticised performance at SXSW, which saw a ‘vomit artist’ projectile vomit all over her. Twice. That two times too many. Gaga had explained before the vomit fest, “I believe being an individual and speaking your mind is one of the boldest things you can do. As for my bold act, you’ll have to wait for the show.” Whether Gaga’s act was bold and artsy or just plain bizarre is the question.

Lady GaGa, Bill Murray and David Letterman are perhaps some of the most unlikely people you'll find taking a selfie together yet that's just what happened when Murray and Gaga joined the talk show host on The Late Show With David Letterman on Wednesday (2nd April).

Murray arrived on the show and attempted to usurp Letterman from his desk at the New York studio. Carrying a clipboard, Murray announced it was on his bucket list to host the Late Show and meet Lady Gaga. Fortunately, he was able to tick the two off his list at the same time.

Lady GaGa knows how to celebrate her birthday in style - sort of. The Mother Monster and queen of all things bizarre joined fans in New York on Friday (28th March) to celebrate her 28th birthday with a performance at the Roseland Ballroom.

Lady Gaga will close the famous Manhattan venue on April 7th.

The 'G.U.Y.' singer showed up to her performance in her birthday suit - well almost. Gaga arrived at the venue in a vintage New York yellow cab, wearing one of her most bizarre outfits to date. Gaga wore what appeared to be an onesie made entirely of opaque nylon, with red roses strategically placed across her chest and crotch. Unfortunately, it was still possible to see Gaga's tiny nude underwear, despite the single rose bud placed between her buttocks. In order to complete the ensemble, Gaga wore a red headscarf also decorated with a string of red roses.

We were pretty surprised to hear Lady GaGa admit that her boyfriend wears the trousers in their relationship. During a recent radio interview Gaga admitted that her boyfriend Taylor Kinney is “totally in charge”, adding, “I mean, when I am home, I am like, shoes are off, I’m making him dinner. He has a job, too, and he is really busy!”

Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, has been dating actor and model Kinney since they met on the set of her video for her song “You and I” back in 2011. Kinney has appeared in Zero Dark Thirty as well as upcoming movie The Other Woman, starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton. He also had a recurring role as Mason Lockwood on CW’s The Vampire Diaries.

We all know that Lady GaGa loves to shock, so no one was actually that surprised to see the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills make a cameo appearance in her new ‘ARTPOP’ music video for ‘G.U.Y.’ Gaga isn’t the only musician to make use of celebrities in her music videos, although she is certainly the first to dress up reality TV stars as an ancient Greek chorus. The video for ‘G.U.Y.’ sees Lisa Vanderpump playing the tambourine, while Kim and Kyle Richards play guitars, Carlton Gebbia strums the harp with Yolanda Foster on the cello.  No one can call Gaga unoriginal!

Who remembers Courteney Cox’s cameo appearance in Bruce Springsteen’s 1984 video for “Dancing in the Dark”? We don't blame you if you can't, it was quite a long time ago and the Friends star herself was only 20 years old. Live Nation executive Arthur Fogel says rumors of poor ticket sales for Lady GaGa's Summerfest headlining show are "ridiculous", and that Mother Monster is all set for a triumphant summer show at the Marcus Amphitheater in Milwaukee. 

"The run with Gaga over the last two tours has been incredibly successful, and this one is shaping up no differently,"  Fogel, chairman of the company's global touring division, producers of Gaga's forthcoming artRave: The ARTPOP Ball tour, told Billboard's Ray Waddell.

In her perennial quest to push boundaries that often don’t need pushing, Lady GaGa let ‘vomit artist’, Millie Brown, do her thing all over her at SXSW festival on March 13. The singer foresaw the backlash, and now says she’s not surprised by people’s reactions. 

"I guess we weren't completely surprised. Millie and I know that not everybody's going to love that performance," the 27-year-old singer told "Today" anchor Savannah Guthrie yesterday morning (March 21). "But we both really believe in artistic expression and strong identities," she continued.

Demi Lovato came under fire from Lady GaGa's Little Monsters after she criticised the Mother Monster's performance at the South by Southwest show on Thursday (13th March).

Gaga appeared at Austin music festival and, as a planned part of her act, was vomited on by a professional vomit painter. The painter in question, Millie Brown, intentionally puked up a green slimy substance on Gaga whilst the 27-year-old was performing 'Swine'.

Lady GaGa’s much anticipated SXSW keynote saw the singer detail her difficult year, which comprised a mediocre response to her album Artpop, a split from her management, a nasty hip injury followed by surgery. But she vowed to never change, and would rather quit pop than compromise.

“I refuse to compromise and allow my talents to be monetized to the point that I don’t want to be here anymore. I will stop, I will quit, I will retire from the commercial market if I have to do something other than be myself because if I can’t be myself in this moment than everything I have said to my friends since the beginning will be a total lie,” she said in an hour-long question-and-answer session.

Lady GaGa brought some serious 2008 nostalgia to her SXSW gig on Thursday night. Her show included highlights like fake vomit, a roasting spit and some good old-fashioned mechanical bull riding. It’s not cliché, it’s classic. If you’re wondering how it all ties together, imagine Gaga being wheeled out on a huge roasting spit, from which she sang her first song, Aura. Apparently this time it wasn’t some thinly veiled metaphor about celebrity culture, just a nod to Texas’ infamous BBQ culture.

Clad in black lingerie and fishnets, Gaga addressed the crowd, saying: "I've been having such a good time all week. I haven't showered. I've been drinking all week. And eating."

The Public Assembly Code Enforcement - or PACE team - is patrolling the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas to make sure parties and events don't get out of hand. The team is on the lookout for problems including overcrowding, permitting issues or even the safety of temporary structures at South by Southwest.

"We usually respond to requests from other agencies or citizens about things that they feel might be unsafe," Lt. Vincent Hernandez with the Austin Police Department, who also heads up PACE told Kxan,"[The] Public Assembly Code Enforcement Team will be out for the whole duration 9of South by Southwest). We're working a lot of hours, putting in a lot of hours. But again, it's for the safety of the party-goers."

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are planning the most lavish ceremony they can conjure for their impending nuptials. Aquaman and his hobbit fiancé are masters of grandeur and without a doubt, their wedding ceremony will be off the scale and the kind of wedding ceremony us mere peons could only dream of attending. Lady GaGa's No.1 album will be hitting the road as she has unveiled the dates for a North American tour in 2014 on Tuesday (Dec 3rd).

The arena concert tour will be titled 'artRave: The ARTPOP Ball Tour' and is scheduled to roll into 25 cities across the continent. 

The 27 year-old will be kicking things off on May 4th 2014 in at the BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and will trek over the border in Canada until she wraps things up in Los Angeles' Staples Center on July 21st.

Dennis Rodman topped one of the least desirable end of year lists going, as GQ placed the North Korea-infatuated former NBA star at the top of their annual 'Least Influential People' list. Rodman took home the dubious honour, which was awarded to Mitt Romney last year, beating politicians, pop stars, actors and actresses to the top spot thanks to his strange connection with North Korea and its dictator Kim Jong Un.

Described as a "Q-list celebrity willing to commit borderline treason just to hang out with a dictator who himself aspires to be a Q-list celebrity," by QG (reprinted by the Associated Press), Rodman won't be letter his minute influence get in the way of continuing his self-imposed peace mission in the dictatorship as he continues to travel back and forth to the Asian nation. Rodman revealed this week that he intends on going back to North Korea for the umpteenth time next month, this time going for an exhibition basketball tour.

Disgraced celebrity chef Paula Deen took the number two spot, with her racial slurs and subsequent court case with a former employee seeing her once glittering cooking empire crumble around her. The racist restauranteur was followed closely by former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose sexting exploits returned to the news for a second time whilst he was running for the New York mayorship in July. GQ described the horny Democrat as " the saddest lecher in American politics, and that's saying something, because they're all lechers."

Forbes have once again compiled their yearly list of highest earning celebrities in every possible respect and the winner for highest earning musician in 2013 is a very familiar face indeed: Madonna. The Queen of Pop came out on top despite tough competition and the fact that she didn't really create or release any new music in 2013. Call that staying power.

According to the magazine, Madge earned most of her money over the last year through touring, with her 'MDNA' tour grossing $305 million in total since it was launched, earning the singer a cool amount in the process. Her other major sources of income has been royalties, her clothing line and the launch of her new fragrance, Forbes revealed, putting her total earnings for the past 12 months at an estimated $125 million.

Lady GaGa hosted SNL for the very first time this past weekend and it was brilliant/over-the-top/weird/hilarious. And of course, she doubled as the musical guest for that evening, performing for the very first time 'Gypsy' off her shiny new album ARTPOP (less shiny now that the critics have had their way with it, but still).

It was Gaga's first time hosting this past weekend.

Gaga didn’t let the ambivalent reviews take away any of her sparkle though and belted out an emotional rendition of the song, complete with a hot pink grand piano to match the backing band’s outfits, a guitar trio (which the Lady herself joined at one point) and, of course, what performance would be complete without a tambourine player clad only in shiny purple trousers. Clearly, you have to watch this video.

The 27 year-old has secured her third UK No.1 album, with the help of the hit tracks 'Applause' and 'Do What U Want'.

Gaga has previously topped the charts in the UK with her debut studio album 'The Fame' (2008) and its follow-up 'The Fame Monster' (2009).

Lady GaGa was both the host and the musical guest on this weeks Saturday Night Live, and whilst the bulk of her appearance on the show was surprisingly tame for the shock-value singer, her duet with R Kelly midway through the show was much more sexually charged than anything else we've seen from the current season of the long-running sketch show.

Lady GaGa has never been one to shy away from any aspects of her life, and this is no different when she takes part in a candid interview with Howard Stern.

Gaga is currently promoting her new album 'ARTPOP' and her latest visit was on a SirisXM radio's 'The Howard Stern Show'.

In the very open-minded interview, Gaga told the host some of her and Kinney's intimate details and even revealed she would be more than happy to partake in a threesome.

Lady GaGa used her acceptance speech at the Glamour Women of the Year 2013 to vent at the magazine for making her look "too perfect" on the December cover. 

Speaking on-stage at the Carnegie Hall in New York, Gaga said that, like her follow honoree Malala Yousafzai, she was going to use the speech to speak about her cover.

"I felt my skin looked too perfect. I felt my hair looked too soft," she told the audience, "I do not look like this when I wake up in the morning... I don't even look like this," referring to her wild wig and makeup for the evening.

Lady GaGa stars as the front cover star of December's edition of Glamour magazine. In her feature interview, the star discusses her new album, her insecurities and beauty and body image in today's society, arguments that are kind of condescended against when you notice how photoshopped Gaga's picture is on the front of the magazine.

It turns out that Gaga was unwittingly photoshopped like mad for the cover picture, and in a show of defiance the singer has called out the magazine for doctoring her image so much. Gaga didn't just write a tweet or an open letter to dispute the image though, instead she went right to the source and called out the magazine in their own yard.

Lady GaGa set herself big goals for ARTPOP, released today, Tuesday, November 12. In her very own words, the album with its Jeff Koontz cover, was supposed to be “art imprinted onto pop culture.” But Gaga’s career has always been a bit hit-and-miss in its avant-garde aspect, which begs the question, which Gaga will we get to hear on ARTPOP? The meat dress-wearing, Marina Abramovic emulating envelope-pusher or the pastel clad bubble gum pop princess? The reviews are already starting to flood the interwebs, so let’s take a look at what the critics are saying.

The cover art is as busy as the album itself.

According to Billboard’s Jason Lipshutz, the album is perfect in its imperfections. It’s inconsistent and eclectic, but Gaga makes it work, “coherently channeling R&B, techno, disco and rock music as a pop artist while discussing sex, drugs, lust, God, fame and creativity, Lady Gaga has offered fans her most sonically and lyrically diverse album to date.”

Lady GaGa is known for her wild and eccentric fashion choices, so whenever she shows up to a concert or red carpet event there is always a sense of anticipation surrounding her arrival as people wait to see what wild costume she has on. Lady GaGa Wants To Have "At Least Three" Children Lady Gaga might be the mother to all her monster fans but she would like to have the real thing in the future.

The 27 year-old recently addressed several topics on SiriusXM that she doesn't usually discuss.

Gaga opened up about family life and what she desire her future to look like, "I want to have tons of kids, actually. I think at least three," she said to the radio station on Friday (Nov 8th).

Lady GaGa has made a shocking confession this week, that she has developed something of a mental dependancy on marijuana ever since she injured her leg earlier this year. The 'Applause' singer has revealed that, in order to deal with the pain of her injury, smoking pot became a regular occurance and it eventually became a problem as she struggled to ween herself off the drug.

In her insightful interview, Gaga admitted to smoking "15 joints a day" as she tried to numb the pain of her hip injury, but her weed habit got so much that it began to consume her life. Her hip injury forced her to drop out of a number of date in her 'Born This Way tour,' but the singer has since stated that her dependancy on pot was also a defining factor in making her ditch the rest of her tour dates.

The singer revealed her plans to take her meat-wearing antics past the atmosphere and give a zero gravity performance among the stars for what will be a remarkable experience.

Slated to take place in early 2015, Gaga is set to perform at the high tech Zero G Colony festival in New Mexico before traveling to Virgin Galactic's launch site in the Jornada del Muerto desert basin, also in New Mexico. As initially reported by Us Weekly, the singer will then blast off in to orbit to give a special performance, where she will perform one track before hurtling back to Earth.

Lady GaGa Will Sing Live From Space In 2015 Lady Gaga will be heading into outer space in 2015. The 27 year-old singer will be boarding Richard Branson's 'Virgin Galactic' ship to play just one song.

Pop star Lady GaGa will play on board one of Virgin Galactic's space shuttles as part of a Zero G Colony music festival in New Mexico, reports US Weekly. The eccentric 27 year-old star will head to suborbital space with her entourage in tow to perform just one song during the 2015 festival.

Lady GaGa and her longtime manager Troy Carter have parted ways just days before the release of 'Artpop'.

Carter has managed the 'Born This Way' singer since 2007, before the release of her debut album, 'The Fame', and is regarded as an integral part of Gaga's success.

A source very close to the singer's relationship with her manager confirmed the split was over "creative differences," according to Showbiz411.com.

Lady GaGa's romance with Taylor Kinney may still be raging on, but her relationship with manager Troy Carter has possibly come to an end.

Lady Gaga appeared at the YouTube Music Awards on Sunday (3rd November).

Sources, speaking to Us Weekly, claim the 'Born This Way' singer may well be parting from her long term manager Carter. One source claimed the two had different visions of Gaga's future and music. This source said "It's sad but also liberating at the same time. One door closes and another opens." Although the two have worked closely for over six years, it seems they are splitting because of "creative differences", if sources are to be believed.
