Lady Antebellum say they're 'sure' that Taylor Swift and Kanye West have something planned for the MTV Video Music Awards on September 12th 2010. The country act, who will go head-to-head with Miranda Lambert for 'Song of the Year' at this year's Country Music Awards, said the pair need to "hug it out". Speaking to HollywoodLife.com, the band said, "It would actually be really cool if they presented together. I'm sure they've got something planned!" West famously interrupted Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 VMAs, insisting that Beyonce should have won the award instead.
LADY ANTEBELLUM will be hoping to scoop some awards of their own when they attend the 44th annual Country Music Association Awards on November 10th 2010. The CMA's are recognised as the biggest night in country music, and Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley are set to return as hosts. Antebellum have been nominated for 'Best Album', as well as 'Best Single' for their track 'Need You Now'. However, it was Lambert who topped the list of nominations with five in total, and she'll compete against her fiance Blake Shelton at the star-studded ceremony.
