Struggling singer Kym Marsh has enlisted the song-writing talents of Blue hunk Duncan James, in a desperate final bid for chart glory.

The former HEAR'SAY star has teamed up with Duncan - who has already scored success as a co-writer on his band's hit GUILTY - in an attempt to garner solo success and avoid the axe from her disgruntled record label UNIVERSAL ISLAND.

Her latest single SENTIMENTAL bombed into the UK charts yesterday (02NOV03) at number 35, heightening reports her label bosses are poised to ditch her.

A source tells Britain's NEW! magazine, "Kym and Duncan get on together because they have music in common.

"Kym told a pal that she has been secretly writing songs with Duncan and he plans to include the tracks on her next album."
