Kylie Minogue could be hit with a huge bill for postponing the Australian leg of her SHOWGIRL world tour, because she reportedly had an insufficient insurance policy.
The CAN'T GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD star was forced to bring her concert appearances to a halt when she was diagnosed with breast cancer last month (MAY05) - and she could be forced to pay fans who demand a refund out of her personal fortune.
A source told British newspaper the DAILY EXPRESS, "Kylie wasn't insured for this kind of eventuality. She's never had cause to cancel an appearance because of being ill.
"The company which insures her was expected to fork out a huge sum, but it seems that will fall to Kylie herself."
FRONTIER, the company responsible for promoting the Australian leg of Minogue's tour, prefers to focus on the health of the recovering singer.
A statement reads: "The Frontier touring company are not expecting any money in the near future and have not approached Kylie on this matter. Our primary concern has always been, and remains, her health and recovery.
"The majority of fans seem happy to give Kylie the time she needs to recover. It is important to remember that Kylie's tour is only postponed, not cancelled."19/06/2005 21:16
