Pop star Kylie Minogue is set to make a surprise appearance at the Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards later this month (OCT06) according to press reports in Australia. The CAN'T GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD star is returning to her home country to re-launch her Showgirl tour in Sydney, after winning her battle with breast cancer. The Aria ceremony will take place on 29 October (06) - one week before she begins touring Down Under. Sources close to Minogue tell the Sydney Daily Telegraph that her appearance won't be officially announced and that she will just show up on the night. Minogue is the latest celebrity rumoured to be attending the ceremony - Oscar winner and fellow Australian Nicole Kidman is reportedly attending along with new husband Keith Urban. Kidman's publicist Wendy Day says, "She would love to go and is doing what she can with her schedule to make it happen." Jackass: NUMBER TWO star Johnny Knoxville will also attend the ceremony along with his new friends, Australian band Wolfmother, who are up for five awards. The actor became close to the rockers while filming the video for JOKER AND THE THIEF, which is the theme for the latest Jackass movie.
