Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue is set to be honoured with a bronze statue in her home city of Melbourne. The SPINNING AROUND hitmaker's likeness will feature as part of a new Hollywood-style walk of fame project. Organiser NORM HOTTON says Minogue's recent "inspirational" battle to overcome breast cancer prompted their decision to immortalise her image. Minogue is one of five native stars, who include Barry Humphries' comedy alter-ego Dame Edna Everage, to receive the honour. The statue will show the singer in a dance pose, wearing her infamous figure-hugging hot pants.
