Dancing With The Stars is to return this autumn with a special All-Stars version, featuring celebrities who have wowed both audiences and the judges on previous series of the popular show.
This morning, on Good Morning America, Sabrina Bryan was announced by the show's host Robin Roberts as being the viewers' choice to be the 13th contestant, who beat off competition from Carson Kressley and Kyle Massey for the sought-after spot. Bryan of course appeared on the 5th series of the show, alongside dance partner Mark Ballas. This time round however, Ballas will be dancing alongside Bristol Palin, with Bryan set to dance with Louis Van Amstel.
Bryan will be joining such former contestants as Kirstie Alley, Joey Fatone, Pamela Anderson, EMMITT SMITH, Drew Lachey and Melissa Rycroft on the next instalment of the show, which will be going to air on September 24th.
After months of waiting, the pairings for Dancing With The Stars' forthcoming season have been finalized. As many will know by now, the new season is a special 'all-star' instalment, meaning, former winners of the show have been invited back to compete for the title of champion-of-champions.
On Monday morning (August 13, 2012), ABC revealed the professional-celebrity teams, strangely giving five contestants an advantage by announcing repeat partnerships. Season three winner Emmitt Smith will once again dance with Cheryl Burke, while Kirstie Alley will once again strike up her successful partnership with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Bristol Palin - who surprisingly made it through to the final of season eleven - will team up with Mark Ballas, whom many consider to be one of the most accomplished dancers on the show. So it looks as though the new couplings have it all to do, and they include Kelly Monaco with Val Chmerkovskiy, Shawn Johnson with Derek Hough and Apolo Anton Ohno with Karina Smirnoff.

Dancing With The Stars season eleven has been won by the American actress Jennifer Grey, after she breezed to victory with two perfect scores for her final dances of the series. Last night's results show (23rd November 2010) saw the 50-year-old announced as this year's winner, with Disney star Kyle Massey finishing second, and Bristol Palin finishing third.
Despite finding herself bottom of the leader-board heading into the results show, there had been much speculation as to whether Palin would benefit from a strong public vote and topple the favourite, JENNIFER GREY. However, it was not to be and the daughter of Republican politician Sarah Palin found herself as the first finalist to be eliminated. Before the results were announced, the 20-year-old said, "Going out there and winning this would mean a lot. It would be like a big middle finger to all the people out there that hate my mom and hate me".
'Dirty Dancing' star Grey and professional partner Derek Hough had continually topped the leader-board throughout this year's show, and a recent flurry of 'perfect tens' had seen them heavily tipped to take the title. The singer Brandy was regarded as the only contestant to match Grey's dancing ability, but she was surprisingly eliminated last week.

The final of Dancing With The Stars season eleven gets underway tonight (22nd November 2010), with the underdog Bristol Palin looking to steal the title away from favourite Jennifer Grey and fellow finalist Kyle Massey. 20-year-old Palin has continuously avoided elimination despite finding herself at the bottom of the leader-board on numerous occasions, and various sources are suggesting she may now win the entire competition.
Speaking to USA Today, professional dancer Louis Van Amstel suggests that if Palin receives the same amount of public votes that has helped her to the final, she could be announced as the winner, he said, "It totally depends on what the judges are going to do. We know what the people are going (to do). People are voting for her". Van Amstel added that if Palin's judges scores are close to that of Grey's and Massey's then "she's going to win or be second. If they push her down, she's going to be third". Palin will be looking to deliver a strong routine in tonight's final, and Van Amstel admits that "It's really up for anybody to win".
The show's executive CONRAD GREEN has defended the voting process that will be used to decide this year's winner, telling Entertainment Weekly, "There are tons of checks done by every one of our vendors - the phone people, the text people and the internet people.. I'm very confident the votes that are getting through are valid".
The Dancing With The Stars semi-final ended in controversy last night (16th November 2010) after American R&B singer Brandy was voted off the competition, despite being recognised as one of the most talented dancers. Bristol Palin, the 20-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin, survived yet another results show and will take her place in next week's final.
Palin and partner Mark Ballas were placed at the bottom of the leader-board following Monday night's dances, however, she has consistently clawed her way through in recent weeks, and will now face Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey and actor Kyle Massey in the season eleven final. After the announcement was made, BRANDY, who was visibly upset, said, "I don't know how to feel right now, it hasn't processed yet for me", however, her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy was gracious in defeat, saying, "Voices count. I love the fact that the show represents the people's choice". BRANDY was later seen crying in the studio.
Judge Bruno Tonioli spoke of his surprise at the decision, and praised BRANDY's recent performances, saying, "I am shocked because last night you delivered a fantastic performance. I am so disappointed! Your freestyle, I was looking forward to see it so much".
Actress-and singer Brandy has become the ninth contestant to be eliminated from 'Dancing with the Stars' after Bristol Palin survived thanks to the public vote.
Brandy has become the ninth contestant to be eliminated from 'Dancing With The Stars'.
The actress-and singer and her professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were eliminated last night (16.11.10) following a public vote, despite receiving a total score of 57 out of a possible 60 from the judges for their performances on Monday's (15.11.10) episode.
Following the announcement, a disappointed Brandy burst into tears before saying: "I'm numb. It's going to hit me tomorrow. I gave it everything I have and I don't have any regrets. I'm so proud of me and I say that humbly. I'm very proud of Maks as well. He's been very calm tonight!"
