Kula Shaker frontman Crispian Mills is working on his directorial debut - and uncle Maxwell Caulfield is hoping the project will boost his stalled movie dreams.
The Hush hitmaker, whose late father was revered British filmmaker Roy Boulting, is adapting a short story by Withnail & I writer Bruce Robinson.
And Grease 2 star Caulfield hopes there will be a role for him in his nephew's first film.
The actor tells BlogTalkRadio.com, "Crispian is following in his dad's footsteps directing his first film and we're all very excited about that.
"I haven't gotten my hands on a script yet, so I don't know how much I have to kiss up to Crispian between now and the early summer, when this picture rolls."
