Cavallari isn't sure she wants her children playing football

However, during an appearance on The Meredith Vieira Show on Monday (March 9th), the reality TV star admits that she would prefer it if her children didn't follow in their father's footsteps and play football.

"I don't know if I have a lot of control over that," she told Meredith Vieira. "I think it's difficult when the father of your boys plays football to say that you can't do that, but we'll see."

She added, "I'll try to steer them in more a baseball direction or tennis is great, even golf. They are way too young right now."

At just 2-years-old and nine-months-old, Cavallari and Cutler definitely have their hands full being parents, but surprisingly the former 'Hills' star still manages to stay in very good shape and maintain a fit and toned physique.

Cavallari opened up about balancing motherhood with living a healthy lifestyle just last month. "There's no real secret, I work my butt off in the gym. I woke up at 5:30 a.m. and went and walked uphill on the treadmill for 30 minutes," she told E!News.

But her strict fitness regime does have its downsides, after Cavallari lost all her pregnancy weight, she now wants to put some muscle back on.

"After I had children, my body literally changed. And now for me, it's about trying to keep muscle on and gain muscle, so that, yeah, I don't look too thin," she added. "Because I have no curves ... I can look really skinny and I don't like that look. So, yes, I'm drinking protein shakes, I'm trying to put on muscle and I'm lifting very heavy weight right now."
