British actress Kristin Scott Thomas has been honoured in her adopted home of France with the Legion D'Honneur (Legion Of Honour) at a ceremony in Paris.

The FOUR WEDDING AND A FUNERAL beauty, 45, has spent most of her adult life in the Gallic nation, after first living there while she studied at a French drama school during her teenage years.

Scott Thomas married French DOCTOR FRANCOIS OLIVENNES in 1987 and they have three children together - Hannah, JOSEPH and GEORGE.

The actress picked up her award from French President JACQUES CHIRAC earlier today (27JUN05).
