A source close to the reality TV star and model Kristin Cavallari has admitted the arrival of her first baby (announced yesterday, January 23, 2012) was not planned. A story on Tmz.com reveals that the baby, which is fathered by her on-off partner Jay Cutler, was in fact an accident. A source has told the website that although Jay and Kristin had discussed the possibility of having children together, they had certainly not planned for it to happen any time soon.
Kristin began dating Jay - a quarterback for the Chicago Bears - in 2010. The couple announced their engagement in April 2011. Just three months later, though, Jay apparently called off the engagement. Since then, the state of their relationship has been the subject of speculation. In November 2011, Kristin posted a message on her Twitter site announcing that not only were they back together but were engaged again. Then, just a few months later, the pregnancy was announced.
Kristin Cavallari began filming the first series of the 'reality' show Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County when she was in her junior year at high school. Since that series ended, she has also appeared in The Hills, a programme with a similar premise to Laguna Beach; a semi-scripted fly-on-the-wall look at real people's lives and in this case, focusing on the lives of wealthy young people living in Los Angeles. Prior to dating Cutler, Cavallari was in a relationship with Brody Jenner - the son of Bruce Jenner and step-brother to Kim Kardashian and her sisters.
