The scandal involving Kristen Stewart and director Rupert Sanders and her subsequent breakup with Robert Pattinson has apparently cost her the lead role in the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman , according to published reports. In fact, say several of them, the Snow White character will be entirely deleted from the sequel, which will focus on the Huntsman character portrayed by Chris Hemsworth. The sequel, the reports indicated, will be directed by Rupert Sanders, who has admitted having had an affair with Stewart during the production of the original movie and reportedly is now trying to save his marriage with Liberty Ross, who also appeared in the film. Gawker.com reported today (Wednesday) that the producers are now looking for a replacement for screenwriter David Koepp who had been working on the sequel. "Now that the movie's being reimagined as a Huntsman spin-off, he's being phased out, and Universal is looking for a new writer," Gawker said.
