Kristen Stewart has apparently decided not to attend the MTV Video Music Awards where she was supposed to present awards alongside her ex-boyfriend and 'Twilight' co-star Robert Pattinson.
The actress has instead reportedly made the decision to attend the Toronto International Film Festival where she will promote her new film 'On The Road'; a movie adaptation of Jack Kerouac's famous novel. She seems to be avoiding showing herself in public as much as possible since she was caught cheating on her boyfriend with married 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders and even failed to appear at the 'On The Road' premiere which was held in London this week. Pattinson, on the other hand, has endured a series of awkward interviews that were scheduled as part of the promotion of his new movie 'Cosmopolis' and has so far managed to avoid saying much on the subject of his troubled relationship.
It seems strange that Stewart would deliberately avoid a chance to speak to Pattinson who she seems desperate to fix things with. According to Life and Style Weekly magazine, a friend of Pattinson has claimed that Stewart is sending persistent text messages and love letters. 'She's sent Rob handwritten notes - dozens of them - begging him to take her back', he said. 'She says things like, 'I can't live without you. I love you. You are the one, and I made the biggest mistake of my life.''
