It's official. The Veronica Mars movie exists and the people at SXSW have already seen it.
It wasn’t enough that SXSW attendees get to see and hear the latest music and films earlier than anyone else – they have Veronica Mars too. The film about the plucky high school detective (not so plucky, but still high school now) premiered at the Austin, TX festival this Saturday. The cast could not be more excited as they walked the red carpet at SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival, chatted with fans, took a couple of selfies (as is traditional) and generally shared the love.
South by southwest? More like south by south YES! (Is this a Mom joke? If the shoe fits!) #SXSW #veronicamarsmovie

All the faces that Marshmallows know and love were there, starting with Kristen Bell and Rob Thomas, as well as Tina Majorino (aka Mac), Jason Dohring (Logan), Percy Daggs (Wallace), Enrico Colantoni (Veronica’s dad Keith Mars) and Ryan Hansen, who plays the ever annoying, but still well loved Dick.

It was the kind of reunion that can bring a tear to the eye of any Marshmallow. Of course, all those pictures and selfies were dutifully tweeted by Kristen Bell. Well, along with the trailer, that should be enough to tide the less lucky fans over until the Veronica Mars movie has its official release on March 14.
