Kris Jenner is apparently "none too happy" that Kim and Kanye have opted against selling their wedding photos for $11 million.
Momager Kris Jenner is apparently furious that daughter Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have turned down a collective sum of $11 million to publish their wedding photos. The couple married in a lavish and surprisingly private Italian ceremony last month.
Kris is apparently disgruntled that Kim and Kanye will not be selling their wedding photos
A source told Page Six that Jenner “very much wanted to sell the pictures,” so the decision not to has ruffled her feathers. “Kris was none too happy,” the source added.
Jenner had been in charge of negotiating deals to sell photos from both Kim and Khloe’s past marriages. When Kim married Kris Humphries and Khloe married Lamar Odom, Jenner organised deals with various magazines. People magazine paid a whopping $1.5 million for the photos of the Kardashian-Humphries wedding, as well as $300,000 for her engagement photos. As manager, Jenner would have received commission on whatever deals she managed to arrange, so missing out on a cool $11 million has no doubt come as a blow.
A source close to Kim has defended the decision, claiming it was Kim’s and not Kris’s: “These are Kim’s wedding pictures. Kim and Kanye were getting offers for money, and they decided with their teams not to take any.”
The source also indicated that a driving reason behind the couple’s decision not to sell their photos was to establish this wedding as the polar opposite to Kim’s last. Instead they have released a steady stream of select images on social media accounts, just enough to show off a bit of the location, Kim’s dress and a small hint of what the day was like.
