Kourtney Kardashian and long-time beau Scott Disick are expecting their first baby girl. The couple first announced the pregnancy last November, and this week revealed the sex of their second child together.
The 32-year-old reality star, who is the first and only Kardashian sister to have a child so far, told E! News, "We feel so blessed to be having a little girl and to be able to share this new experience with Mason". Kourtney, Scott and their 2-year-old son Mason often form the backbone of plotlines on 'Keeping up with the Kardashians', and a perceived on-going feud between Scott and the Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner has existed since the early seasons. Speaking after news of the pregnancy was revealed, sister Kim said, I am so excited for Kourt and Scott...Mason is the best baby ever and I can't wait to be an aunt again!" The couple's new arrival is expected in late spring, with the build-up to the birth expected to form a key part of the reality series. Announcing the pregnancy last year, Kourtney told US Weekly magazine, "Now I'm nine weeks along. You're supposed to wait 12 weeks to tell people, but I feel confident". Meanwhile, Disick said, "It wasn't like we weren't trying. We kind of just said, 'If it's meant to be, it'll be".
Though Kourtney's sister Kim Kardashian recently split from her husband Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage, she is still holding out hope for children, recently telling Allure Magazine, "Do I want kids of my own? Absolutely. But I don't know if that's what's meant for me. Maybe I'll just work, work, work, and not think about it".
