Korn frontman Jonathan Davis is set to embark on a solo US tour in February (07), but he has no plans to record an album without his bandmates. Davis was hospitalised in England in June (06) with immune thrombocytopenia purpura (ITP), which forced him to pull the plug on the group's European tour. But he's now ready to hit the road by himself, supported by backing musicians who played on Korn's recent tour. He tells MTV, "I'm gonna do it more in the style of a lounge thing. I'll be playing Korn songs, the Queen of the Damned (soundtrack) stuff I did and a lot of different covers. "The closest thing (I've done to a solo album) was the Queen Of The Damned stuff and if I were to (record something solo) again, it'd be something like that."
