British band the Klaxons' debut has been named the best album of 2007 by influential U.K. music magazine NME. The release, Myths Of The Near Future, has beaten competition from Arctic Monkey's Favourite Worst Nightmare to land the top spot in the annual list compiled by the British publication's writers. Radiohead's In Rainbows, Arcade Fire's Neon Bible and Let's Stay Friends by Les Savy Fav also make the top five.
