The last thing anyone wants to read is ‘Game Of Thrones’ spoilers, but now plot reveals might be even harder for some viewers to avoid. A new app called ‘Spoiled’ allows users to get revenge on their enemies in the worst way possible, by anonymously texting them ‘Game of Thrones’ spoilers.

Jon Snow Game of ThronesIs texting ‘Game of Thrones’ spoilers the ultimate evil deed?

After paying a one-off fee of $0.99 (roughly £0.67) all you need to do is type in your ‘victim’s’ phone number and sit back and watch them have the entire season spoiled episode by episode. The app promises to ‘anonymously and ruthlessly text spoilers to your unsuspecting friends after each new episode airs.’

The app is American but can be used internationally and might be particularly rough for UK fans as new episodes are broadcast in the US hours before they debut across the pond. The app seems to be working well so far, as its twitter account has been sharing the confused messages its received from hapless victims.

The app was inspired by a story which first appeared on Reddit last month, where a man complained that his ex-girlfriend had been spoiling the show for him as punishment over his cheating.

The man told Reddit users: “She spoils the show for me every week. I tried to ask her to stop but she blocks me immediately after she sends the message. I blocked her on whatsap, but she did it via Facebook. Then the next week it was text.”

“She even borrowed one of our mutual friends phones to do it, and I fell for that. (Our mutual friends are all closer to her and apparently hate me now because of what she's told them about me.) I can't watch it before she ruins it [because] I have to wait til my girlfriend (my ex ex) is home from work to watch it with her.”

The man didn't receive much support from Reddit users, who also began sending him spoilers. Many seemed to feel that the man deserved it for cheating and applauded his ex for some next-level style revenge.
