Kirstie Alley got a tattoo on her left wrist following Monday night's Dancing With The Stars live show (4th March 2011). 60-year-old Alley took a tumble during her routine with partner Maksim, who injured himself after hitting the floor. Kirstie Alley eventually scored 21 points for her performance, leaving her halfway down the leader-board, reports ABC News.
Immediately following her dancing mishap, Alley took to her Twitter account to reveal news of a new tattoo, saying, "Party girl? not so much tonight...But I did get a tattoo and I love it....and I had fun...in the end this turned into a magical night". The body art features the word 'Unbroken' on the actress' left wrist, but the 60-year-old has yet to reveal the meaning behind it. Maksim Chmerkovskiy took the blame for Monday's fall and told Good Morning America, "My philosophy is I just wanna be in the background...and I feel like this being the most talked-about moment kinda takes away from Hines and from Petra doing their phenomenal routines, and even from Kirstie, obviously". After a bright star to the competition, Alley's fall left her trailing Hines Ward and Petra Nemcova by four points. Former Playboy bunny Kendra Wilkinson also bettered Alley's routine, scoring a total of 23 out of 30.
Despite the tumble, Kirstie Alley was saved from last night's elimination, with Wendy Williams instead exiting the competition.
