Kirstie Alley - The 60-year-old Dancing With The Stars contestant Kirstie Alley, enlisted the help of John Travolta before performing last night's foxtrot routine. Alley phoned the 'Saturday Night Fever' star instead of turning to one of the shows professional choreographers for assistance, reports U.S Magazine.
Appearing in Alley's pre-taped segment, Travolta advised the actress to first look towards her wardrobe, saying, "Let's try a sneaker. I suggest perhaps a high-top". The 'Cheers' star lost her Manolo Blahnik heel during her waltz routine on 11th April 2011. Travolta also suggested that Alley and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy "ramp up their romantic chemistry". Speaking before hitting the dance-floor to the tune of 'American Woman' by Lenny Kravitz', Alley said, "Now that we've had a session with The Dance Doctor, the bad juju is gone and with this dance, we're going to create magic". The actor's help appeared to have worked, with the couple scoring 23 out of 30 and gaining high praise from the judges. Carrie Ann Inaba noted, "It was bold, it was ambitious, it was a little borderline crazy! You did it - it was magical and I think it was your best dance ever!"
Despite her solid score, Kirstie Alley still trails Hines Ward by four points on this week's leader-board. The former Nfl star performed an energetic rumba routine which gained triples nines from the judges.
