Kirsten Dunst has been inspired to learn French, after taking on the role of tragic French queen MARIE-ANTOINETTE.
The SPIDER-MAN star plays the lead in Sofia Coppola's historical drama, and Dunst admits that portraying the regal role has inspired her to expand her linguistic skills.
She says, "I want to learn French after I've spent three months (filming Marie-Antoinette) in France... All I know is hair and make-up terminology."
And while she has plans to master the Gallic language, she admits she's unsure whether history buffs will like her take on the Marie-Antoinette's life story when the biopic is released next year (06).
She adds, "I'm not sure whether historians are going to love our movie, but we don't care!"
