PEPSI bosses are using Kirk Douglas' epic SPARTACUS movie in new TV adverts for the soft drink.

In the commercial, Pepsi chiefs poke fun at the famous "I'm Spartacus" mountain top scene from the 1960 movie, where thousands of Spartacus' fellow slaves pretend they're him to protect Douglas' character from the Romans.

In the hilarious new commercial, a Roman centurion explains he found a can of Pepsi with Spartacus' name scribbled on paper attached to it at the last meal stop, and he asks, "Who's Spartacus?"

The advert then cuts to the movie, where one after one slaves stand up and states, "I'm Spartacus."
