Members of the American rock band Kings Of Leon are urging their singer Caleb Followill to enter rehabilitation for a drink problem, according to an insider who spoke with US Weekly Magazine. The band cancelled the remainder of their summer tour citing Caleb's "vocal issues and exhaustion".
However, after a disastrous gig in Dallas a source close to the band revealed the real reason for the tour cancellation, saying, "They are trying to get Caleb to go to rehab. That's why they ended up cancelling the whole tour. He drinks like a fish". The award-winning group were forced to cut short their recent show in Dallas when Followill told the audience, "I'm gonna go backstage and I'm gonna vomit, I'm gonna drink a beer", before leaving the stage. Despite the band's official statement regarding the concert, bassist Jared later took to his Twitter and told followers, "There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. I can't lie, there are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade". A second source told US Weekly, "It's true. Caleb's drinking is out of control and they are trying to get him into rehab. It's a dark demon he's been fighting for awhile".
Caleb and his wife Lily Aldridge were spotted on the streets of New York this week. When approached by a Tmz cameraman, the singer said "I'm just trying to get better".
