Kimberley Walsh is "proud" her Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding checked into rehab, insisting it was a "brave" move to address her personal issues.
The British pop star checked into a clinic outside the U.K. last month (Oct11) to address depression and alcohol addiction issues following her split from fiance Tom Crane.
Harding has since moved out of the medical centre, and Walsh has applauded her pal for seeking professional help.
She tells Britain's OK! magazine, "I'm proud of her. We just want her back home now, safe, sound and back to normal.
"You can't blame Sarah for knocking it on the head (stopping drinking). It is brave as some people can't face up to things, and she obviously knew she had a problem and could help herself, and I'm proud of her for doing that."
