British singer Kimberley Walsh has no plans to follow in the footsteps of her Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole and pen an autobiography, because she would "struggle" to talk openly about her private life.

The Fight for This Love hitmaker lifted the lid on her career and personal life in Cheryl: My Story, which was published last year (12), but Walsh admits she would never consider a book deal in order to maintain her privacy.

She tells British magazine Fabulous, "I really don't feel it's something I would ever want to do. Even if I had anything dramatic to talk about, I'd still struggle to put it out there.

"I always wanted to keep a bit of myself back and I think I've managed to find that balance. I'd never want to feel like I was exposed."
