Kim and Kanye face their first parental decision.
Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy might be mercifully over, but if you thought there was nothing else to discus, you were sorely mistaken. Baby West now needs a name. To be fair, it’s been several days since the birth, so we’re willing to wager that the little one already has a name, even though it hasn’t been revealed to the media yet. But, as sources close to the couple have revealed for InTouch Weekly, reaching an agreement hasn’t been easy for Kim and Kanye, despite the fact that they almost had it figured out a while back.
"North is at the top of the list of names,” the pal dishes about their bundle of joy’s potential name. “They're not totally sure about it. Kanye loves it, Kim is okay with it.”
But Kanye has one more obstacle to face when naming the kid and that’s a big one – Kim’s ever-present, opinionated family.
“The family doesn’t like it [the name],” the insider explains, adding, “They're going to decide by today [Tuesday].”
Apparently the discussion can take any direction now, however North West seems likely, if a bit unfortunate for Kim and Kanye’s progeny. Then again, apparently they don’t plan on sticking with the family’s tradition of “K” names, so that’s some progress at least. We’ll keep you updated on this story as it progresses.
The pregnancy might be over, but parenthood is just beginning for these two.
