Kim Kardashian's wedding planner has found her recent split from Kris Humphries "disheartening".

The reality TV star wed the basketball star in a $10 million ceremony in August but announced yesterday (31.10.11) she was filing for divorce after just 72 days of marriage, leaving Sharon Sacks upset.

Sharon - who spent hours with Kim and Kris perfecting their big day - said: "Of course if I said I wasn't sad about them splitting, I wouldn't be telling the truth. It is always sad and very disheartening when two beautiful people so in love for many reasons realise that although they care for each other, they are not destined to be life partners."

However, she's still proud of them for making the "difficult decision" to separate and is grateful for the way they worked with her in planning their big day.

She added to Life & Style magazine: "This takes a lot of courage, and I'm very proud that they were able to make this difficult decision. They were a joy to work with. What we created together was absolutely amazing, so unique and so special. My heart goes out to both of them."

Since announcing the news, Kim, 31, has received a lot of support from her friends and family and her brother Rob is the latest to let his elder sister know he's on her side.

The 'Dancing With The Stars' contestant said: after the show. "Everybody, obviously, is not in a good mood. But we support anything my sister deals with, and that's all we can do. My sister is obviously going through a lot and we're obviously very supportive of whatever decision she makes. We're just here as her family just to be with her and be on her side for whatever."

However, friends say Kim - who is rumoured to have filmed break-up scenes with Kris for the family's latest reality TV show 'Kim and Kourtney Take New York' - has taken the break-up hard.

One told People: "She rushed into it too fast. She's holding it together. It's insanely troubling and heartbreaking, but it's a decision she knew had to be made. Kim is leaning on her family for support. They're the ones she can always trust."
