Kim Kardashian West doesn't think she'd be as famous as she is if it wasn't for social media.

The 34-year-old entrepreneur rose to fame in the television show 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' which first aired in 2007, and revealed that although she garnered fame through the programme, social media is what has made her into a worldwide celebrity.

When questioned whether she would exist without social networking websites, she said: ''I don't think so...

''I don't think social media was that heavy when we started our show, but I think we really evolved with social media.''

The reality TV star - who has 16-month-old daughter North with her husband Kanye West - has 25.3 million twitter followers and 21.4 million Instagram fans, and she believes she has so many online followers because she has such an open nature.

She explained: ''I love sharing my world with people ... That's just who I am.''

While the dark-haired beauty doesn't always enjoy having all eyes on her, she has learnt to accept her situation and deal with the negative elements of fame.

Talking to Paper magazine - in which she appears completely nude - she continued: ''You just have to not care. You just have to say, 'This is our life, and it is what it is.'

''All my friends tell me the world could be coming to an end, and I'm always so calm.''
