The reality TV star's pregnancy news was revealed in the U.S. on Sunday night (31May15) during a preview for upcoming episodes of her show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, on which she has documented her difficulties trying to conceive again.

Kardashian West has been open about going through a slew of fertility treatments in the hopes of giving daughter North a sibling and she insists the latest speculation, suggesting she's using a surrogate mother to carry her child, couldn't be farther from the truth.

She addressed the issue on Twitter.com on Tuesday after a fan brought one false report to her attention, writing, "Kim just announced she's pregnant & Wendy (Williams, U.S. talk show host) FALSELY reported yday (yesterday) that Kim has a surrogate, but is going to use a prosthetic belly. LIES!!!!"

Responding to the post, Kardashian West tweeted, "Please! This is the type of stuff I will address. If I got a surrogate I would say I did! Thankfully I didn't have 2 (sic)".

She went on to fire back at all the false rumours about her life, insisting she is ready to engage in a war of words to set the record straight.

Kardashian West continued, "People make up so much even people close who u think are legit. Truth time... Can't wait til my website is active! I'm gonna do live video streaming so every time someone talks s**t I can go blast the f**k outta them. Pregnant KiKi (Kim) does not play!!!!"

After her unusually candid rant, the mum-to-be revealed bosses of the microblogging site had contacted her to make sure her account had not been hacked, but Kardashian West laughed it off, blaming her outburst on her pregnancy hormones.

Kardashian is reportedly due to give birth around Christmas (Dec15).
