Kim Kardashian was honoured at the ‘Oscars of the internet’ last night, when she accepted the inaugural Break the Internet Award at this year’s Webby Awards. The reality star was recognised at the ceremony in New York, for her "unparalleled success online" and for inventing "a new type of celebrity.”

But unlike the Oscars, acceptance speeches at the Webby awards come with one very strict rule, the speech can be no longer than five words. For Kim, thinking of something short and sweet proved problematic and she ended up Facetiming funny friend Ellen Degeneres for some advice.

In scene, which will air on Ellen’s talk show on Tuesday (May 17), Kim asks the host for help with the five word speech. Ellen’s suggestions included: 'I thank Ellen Lee DeGeneres' and 'you're welcome for naked selfies’.

But Kim eventually went with, ‘Naked selfies until I die’, a reference to the throwback pic she posted earlier this year on Instagram, which gained over 1.7m likes and caused debates and think pieces all over the internet.

The ceremony also saw Kim’s husband Kanye West honoured as artist of the year. Jessica Alba was named entrepreneur of the year, Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner won founders of the year for their Lenny newsletter and Black Lives Matter took home the social media movement of the year award.
