Kim Kardashian is determined to be "more realistic" about love following her recent marriage split, after conceding she needs to "snap out" of her fairy tale romance dream.
The socialite parted ways from basketball player Kris Humphries last month (Oct11), filing for divorce just 72 days after the couple's lavish televised wedding.
Kardashian insists she's always been "a hopeless romantic", but admits she's losing faith in finding lasting love following the end of her second marriage.
She tells Glamour magazine, "Maybe my fairy tale has a different ending than I dreamed it would. I always wanted what Mom and Dad had. And at first, I was like, 'I want six kids.' Then I went down to four... and now I'm like, 'Maybe I won't have any.' Maybe I'll just be a good aunt. The fact (is) that what I want isn't possible.
"I believe in love and the dream of having the perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed. I think I need to not live in a fairy tale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic."
Kardashian wed producer Damon Thomas in 2000 but the couple divorced in 2004.
