Kim Kardashian has caused chaos in Bahrain after riot police were forced to fire tear gas at an angry protest crowd denouncing her new Millions of Milkshake shop.
Kim Kardashian's presence in Bahrain, Middle East, resulted in an angry protest.
The reality star was greeted by an angry mob chanting 'God is Great' on Saturday (01.12.12) during her visit to the small island as she opened her Millions of Milkshake store, and things got so out of hand that riot police fired tear gas at the crowd.
Kim, 31, opened the store at a shopping complex in Riffa - near the country's capital Manama - after the demonstrators were cleared from the area.
Before the incident she had called Bahrain ''the prettiest place on earth'' and thanked the country's president Sheikh Khalifa on her Twitter page.
She wrote: ''Thanks Sheikh Khalifa for your amazing hospitality. I'm in love with The Kingdom of Bahrain @bu_daij70(sic)''
Kim - who is in a relationship with Kanye West - also enjoyed a camel ride in the desert before drinking a glass of its milk, tweeting: ''Got Camels Milk???(sic)'' with a photo attached.
