The reality TV stars and bosses of PacSun, the company behind their fashion range, have been sued by executives of Florida-based lifestyle firm Island Company over a slogan printed on one of their shirts.

Bosses at Island allege the sisters ripped off a message printed on one of the company's designs, which reads, "Quit your job. Buy a ticket. Get a tan. Fall in love. Never return."

The Jenners' shirt was emblazoned with the slogan "Run away. Fall in love. Never return."

In the lawsuit, which was filed in Florida and obtained by New York Post gossip column Page Six, the papers state, "(The Jenners' shirt) is likely to cause confusion, mistake and deception among consumers, the public and the trade as to whether defendants' products or services are affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by plaintiff."

Island bosses claim they trademarked the phrase in 2005 and they are asking for the Jenners to remove it from their designs.
