After a good year for movies and television in 2014, the American Film Institute has honoured the very best that the year had to offer.
For the past fifteen years, the American Film Institute has honoured ten films and ten television shows that truly show off what the year had to offer. 2014 had a particularly good year for films, however, so for the first time, the AFI Awards actually awarded eleven motion pictures with the honouree status. A whole host of celebrities gathered in celebration.

For the celebration, Academy Award-winning Matthew Mcconaughey ('Interstellar') was seen, along with Ethan Hawke ('Boyhood'). Brad Pitt and Edward Norton ('Birdman') were also seen together, after appearing opposite one another in 1999's 'Fight Club'.

Bear Blaze has got one yummy mummy, that’s for sure! Kate completed her look with two totally on trend accessories, a metallic gold clutch bag and gold cuff bracelet. This girl knows how to red carpet (she does have a fair bit of experience at it!).
Diggs (voiced by Marsden) is a brave but impulsive K-9 cop sacked from the San Francisco police force but recruited by the top-secret dog intelligence agency to work with veteran Butch (Nolte) to stop the menacing Kitty Galore (Midler) from taking over the world. But the cats aren't happy with Kitty's evil plan either, so feline spy Catherine (Applegate) teams up with the dogs. Yes, dogs and cats working together! Of course, Diggs' human partner (O'Donnell) and Kitty's magician owner (McBrayer) are oblivious.

Brainy Danny (Pucci) and his more action-oriented brother Brian (Pine) are driving through Colorado with Brian's girlfriend Bobby (Perabo) and their friend Kate (VanCamp) when they encounter a man (Meloni) who's trying to get his sick daughter (Shipka) to a clinic. She has the highly contagious disease that has killed off almost everyone, so extreme measures are needed to prevent infection. As they continue across the Southwest, heading for a Gulf Coast beach they remember from childhood, they encounter various other survivors and are forced to make some brutal decisions.
