Kian Egan formally of Westlife is now embarking on a solo career, having released Brian Rawling produced debut solo album 'Home' though Rhino Music on March 14th of this year. During his time in Westlife, Egan enjoyed success with the group as they brought out fourteen no.1 singles, five no.1 albums and sold out ten tours. Now he seems to be enjoying success by himself with 'Home' having reached no.9 in the UK album charts and no.2 in the Irish album charts. 'I'll Be' is the second single from 'Home' and is originally by American singer-songwriter Edwin McCain.
The music video for 'I'll Be', sees Egan taking a stroll through Irish nature with his acoustic guitar. Taking in the settings, playing his guitar, touching the grass and meeting his friends by a bonfire. 'I'll Be' sees Egan with a more pop-rock orientated sound, as opposed to Westlife's boyband nature. "I chose 'I'll Be' for my second single, as I've always absolutely loved this song. This song means a lot to me and being able to record it was an honour. I'm incredibly excited to be able to perform this for all my fans."
