Khloe Kardashian's husband has reportedly been traded to the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star and her spouse could remain in California permanently after he was taken up by the Dallas Mavericks earlier this year.
A source confirmed to NBC Sports that Lamar's agent has arranged a deal for him to return to the Clippers but added that the deal is not in writing yet.
Lamar spent his first four years in the NBA as a Clipper when the team drafted him fourth overall in 1999.
He played 50 games in Texas but was out for numerous games due to family troubles and eventually parted ways with the team in April.
He said: ''I'm sorry that things didn't work out better for both of us...but I wish the Mavs' organisation, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship.''
He was named NBA's Sixth Man of the Year for the Lakers for the 2010-11 season.
The sportsman almost missed his wife's birthday celebrations on Wednesday (27.06.12).
Lamar planned on ringing in her 28th birthday with her by spending the previous night at their Los Angeles home.
However his flight was delayed, leaving him to arrive later than desired.
