Kendall Jenner's parents are supportive of her modelling career.
The 14-year-old star - half sister of socialite siblings Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian - has recently caused controversy with a bikini shoot but mother Kris Jenner insists she is fully behind her teenage daughter because it's something she has always wanted to do.
She told People magazine: "One of her lifelong passions is to be a model, and it's something she's really excited about."
Speaking about the bikini shots, Kris said: "I grew up in San Diego wearing a bikini my entire life, so I didn't think there was anything wrong with it. They're tasteful, she's covered up completely and they're not provocative. They're just gorgeous shots."
While father Bruce Jenner was initially concerned about the youngster getting involved in the fashion world, he has now shown his support providing she doesn't let it get in the way of her schooling.
He said: "I sat down with her and said 'If I see school slipping, that's not going to work. You're going to stop until you're out of school.'
"Last year she had her best year ever, so I encourage it. I think it builds a lot of character in a young person so I have no problem with them starting early."
