An overzealous fan accused of stalking R&B star Keyshia Cole has had his court hearing postponed.
Torey Webster was expected to enter a guilty plea in Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia on Thursday (13Sep12) in response to various charges relating to a series of arrests since 2009.
However, the case was placed on hold by Senior Judge Stephanie Manis as Cole was unavailable to provide a statement against the suspect. The hearing was also delayed to allow the prosecution and defence teams extra time to hammer out a suitable plea deal, although a new date for the hearing has yet to be set.
Webster has been held in custody on misdemeanour charges of stalking, loitering and prowling and the more serious count of aggravated stalking since his most recent arrest outside the Last Night singer's Georgia home in August, 2011.
He was also arrested in October, 2009, January, 2010 and July, 2011 and the multiple incidents have prompted Cole to obtain at least two orders of protection against the crazed fan over the past three years.
