A bunch of freeloaders are living rent-free in a rockstar's luxurious mansion, however, when they are informed that the owner Adam Duritz (incidentally, the lead singer of Counting Crows), who is often away from home due to work and is therefore unheard of by some of his home's occupants, has decided to sell his lavish property in favour of moving to New York. In order to carry on living their swish, unearned lifestyles, the gang have to come up with $400,000 down payment which they attempt through selling some of Adam's stuff on eBay and allowing a porn movie to be shot on the property. Realizing that there's no way they can make enough money to keep the house, they embark on a sabotage mission, doing everything they possibly can to make sure the house is not sold.
'Freeloaders' is a brilliant new comedy from the producer of 'Super Troopers' and 'Beerfest' (Richard Perello), directed by Dan Rosen ('Dead Man's Curve') and co-written by Dave Gibbs in his screenwriting debut. With a variety of guest appearances including from Adam Duritz of Counting Crows who was also a co-producer, this upcoming flick is scheduled to hit movie theaters in January 2013.
Starring: Olivia Munn, Jane Seymour, Nat Faxon, Clifton Collins Jr., Kevin Sussman, Dave Foley, Jay Chandrasekhar, Zoe Boyle, Garrett Morris, Dana Goodman, Natalie Morales & Kevin Heffernan, Brit Morgan.

Kate and Humphrey are two wolves, they're both members of the same pack but from opposite ends of the scale. Kate is an Alpha, her father is the main alpha male and his daughter behaves exactly how she should; she take her duty and commitment to the pack seriously. Humphrey, on the other hand, spends his days making jokes and playing about with his other omega friends.

As the opening credits roll, we meet Stacy (Brittany Murphy), a young college grad heading out into the exciting world of low-budget television production. She dreams of one day working with her childhood idol, Diane Sawyer. And her mother loves Carly Simon. I don't know why the part about Carly Simon is important, but it's a recurring theme throughout the film. If her mother ever actually got any screen time, perhaps the Carly Simon thing would become at least marginally relevant to the story. But no dice. Even so, we're treated to several inexplicable Carly Simon moments that have nothing to do with anything, really, and don't add anything of substance to the film.

Never before have I seen a movie try so hard to be deliberately awful -- and succeed so wildly -- as "Wet Hot American Summer," a nickel-budget sketch-comedy spoof of early '80s teen sex-at-camp romps like "Little Darlings" and "Meatballs."
Created by veterans of cable "Saturday Night Live" knock-offs "The State" and "Upright Citizens' Brigade," it's a loose jumble of too-obvious jabs at the genre through stock characters in grossly under-rehearsed vignettes that are absentmindedly filmed and edited together without rhythm and apparently at random.
You've got your dorky virgin (Michael Showalter) making an ass of himself for the unattainable girl (Marguerite Moreau). She prefers the inimical, self-styled stud in the jean jacket (the under-appreciated Paul Rudd in the movie's only truly funny performance). He, in turn, prefers the company of your ubiquitous pubescent sluts in tube tops.

All the wicked charm and confident charisma that makeWill Smith a movie star are present in spades in "Hitch," a brightand sharp-witted -- if predictable -- romantic comedy about a matchmakerwho coaches lovestruck schmendricks in the wooing of otherwise unattainablegirls of their dreams.
Letting go his action-hero persona, Smith's winning waywith clever come-ons and witty rejoinders becomes the pulse of this smarter-than-averagecrowd-pleaser that revolves around two archetypal love stories told withamusingly atypical details.
One of the romances is orchestrated by Alex "Hitch"Hitchens (Smith) on behalf of a client -- a hapless, nebbish nice-guy accountant("The King of Queens'" Kevin James) who has fallen from afarfor an out-of-his-league heiress (ex-model Amber Valletta), whose assetshe helps oversee.

On its surface, "Little Black Book" looks like an tritely pedestrian, gimmick-driven chick flick about an emotionally mixed-up career gal who gets more than she bargained for when she rifles through her boyfriend's Palm Pilot looking up old girlfriends.
So imagine my surprise at being thoroughly entertained by this weightless but canny comedy blessed with characters whose personalities aren't dependant upon plot devices, with snappy, spontaneous dialogue (even witty internal-monologue narration), with a story that flows organically, and with a very human heroine who (gasp!) isn't always likable.
Brittany Murphy plays a sweetly self-conscious aspiring TV journalist -- trapped in an associate producer job at a trashy TV talk show -- who is goaded into nagging doubts about her adoring boyfriend by tittle-tattling coworkers (especially the charismatically tart Holly Hunter) who have been warped into habitual scandal-mongers by years of wrangling prostitute grandmothers and midget Ku Klux Klansmen for a living. (Kathy Bates has a ball as the show's shameless, tyrannical host.)
